How to use the Ciups Mug?
We designed the Ciups Mug to be easy to use. To turn on, press the flame button near the bottom of the mug. The temperature display will allow you to select your desired temperature (95°F to 149°F) by pressing the arrows. After a few seconds, the display screen will flash 3 times, indicating that heating has started. While heating, the display will stay on and show the real-time temperature. To turn the heating off, hold the flame button until the display shows 'OFF'. 
How do I know the heating is turned off?
You'll know the heating is off when the display turns off after showing the temperature briefly—this means the mug is in Sleep Mode. If the temperature is flashing or constantly displayed, the mug is in Isothermal Mode and actively heating.
How to check battery life on the Ciups Mug?

What is Isothermal Mode?
Isothermal Mode is active when the mug is heating. In this mode, you can select and maintain your desired temperature (95°F to 149°F). During this operation the display is always on.
To turn on,
- Press the flame button on the bottom of the mug to wake up
- Set the temperature and the heating process will start once the temperature display flashes 3 times
- When done, long press the flame button to turn off heating which switches the mug back into sleep mode
What is Sleep Mode
Sleep Mode is active when the mug isn't heating. In this mode, only the real-time temperature and battery life can be viewed. You're in Sleep Mode if the display turns off within 10 seconds after long pressing the flame emblem.
How do I wash the Ciups Mug?
Hand wash your Ciups Mug with warm water and a soft sponge. After washing, dry your mug off completely before placing on the charger. Do not place the Ciups Mug in the dishwasher, as it may cause damage.
What doe E1 or E2 mean?
- E1 appears when the mug is empty, preventing it from heating
- E2 will appear if your mug has been inactive on the charging base for over 24 hours, preventing it from heating
Can I microwave the Ciups Mug?
Please do not place Ciups Mug in microwave, as it may cause damage or pose a fire risk.
